The Roane County Board of Education is seeking applicants for their Superintendent of Schools vacancy. The successful candidate will assume their duties on July 1, 2025. Deadline for receipt of documents relative to the Roane County Superintendent Search position is 4:00 p.m., Monday, April 7, 2025. Its Preschool Registration time! Children who will be four years old before July 1, 2025 are invited to register for the 2025-26 Roane County Schools Universal PreK Program, a collaborative effort between Roane County Schools and Appalachian Council Head Start. Families may call the RCS Board of Education at 304.927.6400 for an appointment time and to obtain a registration packet.
