If you're entering Kindergarten, Middle School, or High School for the first time this fall, then our new STEP UP programs are for you!

STEP UP for new Kindergarten students will be hosted at Geary, Walton, and Spencer Elementary daily on Monday, August 2, through Wednesday, August 4, from 8 am to noon. Buses will run in each area in the morning and afternoon, and breakfast and lunch will be provided.

STEP UP for new middle school students will be hosted at Geary, Walton, and Spencer Middle daily on Monday, August 2, through Thursday, August 5, from 8 am to noon. Buses will run in each area in the morning and afternoon, and breakfast and lunch will be provided.

To help out new middle school students and those who may have been in Distance Learning all of last year, two different STEP UP programs will be offered at each school:

• Spencer Middle - 5th Grade on Monday and Tuesday (8/2 - 8/3); 6th Grade on Wednesday and Thursday (8/4 - 8/5)

• Geary - 6th Grade on Monday and Tuesday (8/2 - 8/3); 7th Grade on Wednesday and Thursday (8/4 - 8/5)

• Walton - 6th Grade on Monday and Tuesday (8/2 - 8/3); 7th Grade on Wednesday and Thursday (8/4 - 8/5)

STEP UP for new high school students will be hosted at Roane County High School on Monday, August 2, and Tuesday, August 3, from 9 am to 12:30 pm. Buses will run in each area in the morning and afternoon, and breakfast and lunch will be provided.

So that students can have maximum access to our teachers in a small group environment, we ask that they follow this schedule:

• Monday, August 2 - Last names beginning with A - L

• Tuesday, August 3 - Last names beginning with M - Z
