Roane County Schools provides the following school supplies for students to use throughout the school year, in addition to other supplies provided to various programs (art, music, PE, etc.):

• Apple iPad with rugged keyboard case

• Pencils, sharpeners, and erasers (large size for primary students, regular size for others)

• Pens

• Colored Pencils

• Crayons (large size for primary students, regular size for intermediate and middle; not supplied to high school students)

• Highlighters

• Markers

• Rulers

• Dry Erase boards and markers

• Graph Paper

• Notebooks (multiple one-subject notebooks for high school, five-subject notebooks for elementary and middle)

• Binder pouch

• Three-ring binders

• Folders

• Index cards

• Notebook Paper (K - 8 only)

• School Glue (K - 8 only)

• Glue Sticks (K - 8 only)

• Scissors (K - 8 only)

• Construction Paper (K - 8 only)

Parents need not worry about sending supplies with their students, but are welcome to do so if they choose. We would recommend some of the above be kept at home as part of a "homework station" and for those times when school is unexpectedly called off.
