COUNTY STADIUM RENOVATIONS - PHASE 1 UNDERWAY
We are underway at County Stadium! Crews are working to remove top soil as we transform the playing surface into a new, multi-sport, all-weather facility.
TRAFFIC ALERT
While crews work over the new few months to transform the playing surface at County Stadium to a new, multi-sport facility, access between County Stadium and the Paul Cummings Barn may be restricted.
RCHS, County Stadium, and Leo Hines Field (baseball) can continue to be accessed via Raider Way.
The Roane County Softball Field, Andy Kinder Practice Facility, and Paul Cummings Barn can continue to be accessed via Lick Fork Road.
Please be mindful of large trucks and heavy machinery during this time.

Another school calendar reminder -- Kindergarten students will NOT attend school in-person tomorrow (Friday 4/15) so that our K teams can welcome next year's Kindergarteners for registration.
All other students will be released two hours early for Faculty Senate.

2022-23 KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION
On Friday, April 15, 2022, all three elementary schools will host Kindergarten registration.
Students currently in Kindergarten will be given remote learning assignments in advance so that our Kindergarten teams can welcome prospective Kindergarteners and their families.

By WV state law, students must be age 5 before July 1 to enroll in Kindergarten.

Enrollment is now open for our summer 2022 program!
Summer SOLE will run Tuesday through Friday, June 21, to July 15. Students will once again have opportunities to build on what they've learned at school this year as well as experience hands-on learning, outdoor activities, and even field trips!

Roane County Pre-K Collaborative Enrollment for SY 22-23
Roane County Schools will be operating on a two-hour delay Friday, February 25, 2022, due to expected high water.
Remember - President’s Day is NOT a school holiday in West Virginia, so we do have school.
However, we are required to have a Faculty Senate meeting in February — so students will be released two hours early tomorrow, Monday, February 21, 2022.
