Applications for the Roane County Virtual School program are now open until January 9th, 2024 at 4PM. Virtual classes are scheduled to commence on January 10th, 2024. To enroll your student in the Roane County Virtual School program, please complete the application form linked below. Important Reminder: If students are currently attending in-person classes, they must continue to do so until the official switch to virtual learning on January 10, 2024. Any absences during this period will still be counted against the student until they transition to virtual schooling. ICYMI - Roane County Students Most Improved in WV Earlier this week, the West Virginia Department of Education released the results of the 2022-23 statewide assessments and Roane County students posted the biggest combined improvement in English language arts and Mathematics of any district in the state! Roane students increased mastery in ELA by 6.14% and in Math by 5.01%. They also outperformed students at both public charter schools available to Roane County residents.
